Labour Linda.

I have been a Labour Supporter for many years and I know that the better standard of living we have experienced under our Labour Government could disappear tomorrow if the Tories or Lib Dems were in power. I remember the Thatcher years with the grinding poverty and deprivations, with many people having little in the way of money or prospects.

For a Society to be civilised we must look after our weak, sick, vulnerable, young and old. I want to live in a Society where every child has the chance of a decent education, where anyone can obtain first class, free, quick medical treatment, where everyone has the chance to live in a decent home without their lives being blighted by crime and anti-social behaviour. Children are our future and ALL children should be able to access good quality education AND apprenticeship type training - so they will grow into adults who can fully participate in our Society. Everyone should have access to the arts and to sport. The elderly and the physically and/or mentally ill or disabled should have the things they need without cost cutting.
